Nine years ago, Attekus launched its first product, Bookable. It’s grown well beyond bookings, so the Bookable name is retiring. Today, the software you trust as Bookable is part of something much bigger. Attekus is the enterprise solution that brings every booking, customer, event, ticket and payment into one connected experience for councils, government, education, associations and commercial venues across Australia and New Zealand.
From Bookable to the Attekus product family.
Attekus Bookable originally launched with a single purpose: make booking software easier for the councils and venues that used it. With every conversation, every customer and every new requirement, the product grew.
What began as bookings software has now grown into a connected enterprise solution covering bookings, customers, events, ticketing, payments, intelligence and the platform services that connect Attekus to the systems you already use. More than 140 organisations across Australia and New Zealand now trust us with the experiences they deliver to their communities and customers.
Every product, feature and capability has come from listening to what our customers needed at the time, and what they wanted next. The Bookable name served us well, but it no longer describes what we’ve built. Attekus has always been the company. Now every product carries that name.

If you’ve been using Attekus Bookable, here’s how the names you know map to the names we’ll be using from now on.

Attekus Bookings (formerly Attekus Bookable)
Attekus Bookings brings every venue, facility and resource into one central system, from sports fields and civic halls to theatres and meeting spaces. Staff gain clear visibility and control, while people can find, book and pay for spaces without the friction of manual processes. (Includes appointment booking for inspections, JP services, student consultations and more.)
Attekus Events (formerly Attekus Event Management)
Attekus Events brings structure to complex workflows, from enquiries and applications through to pipeline management, proposals, won/loss analysis, approvals, run sheets and event orders. With everything in one place, teams coordinate confidently and deliver events with consistency and control.
Attekus Ticketing (formerly Event Registration & Ticketing)
Attekus Ticketing simplifies how events are promoted, registered, ticketed, and attended – from small workshops to large, seated performances. Staff benefit from a single source of truth, while attendees enjoy a clear, reliable experience from registration through to entry.
Attekus Appointments
Attekus Appointments removes the complexity from scheduling services such as inspections, Justice of the Peace services, and student consultations. With self-service booking, calendar synchronisation, and automated reminders, staff time is protected and appointments run as expected.
Attekus Customer (formerly Customer Management)
Attekus Customer is the foundation that connects every product. With Customer Relationship records (formerly Customer Management), Communications (text and email), Financial and Debtor Management and a Self-Service Portal, it gives staff clarity, leaders confidence and consistent experiences across every interaction.
Attekus Platform Services (formerly Integrations)
Attekus Platform Services are the shared enterprise foundation that underpins the Attekus solution. Common reporting, workflow, integration and identity, powering Attekus Bookings, Customer, Events, Ticketing and Payments and linking them to the finance and ERP systems you already use. That means fewer manual handoffs, better accuracy and stronger trust in your data.
Attekus Payments
Attekus Payments brings every payment workflow into one connected experience. From payment gateway integration (BPoint, SecurePay, Transact, PayWay, Quickstream, Windcave, Datacom, plus POLI Payments in NZ, BPay and Australia Post BillPay in Australia, and PayPal) to EFTPOS (Linkly) and POS integration (Swiftpos by Oolio), Attekus Payments handles credit, debit, digital wallet and institutional payments with the same governance and audit trail as the rest of your Attekus solution. The Attekus ticketing engine can run directly on the POS terminal, supporting multiple sale types in a single payment transaction.
Attekus Intelligence (Coming Soon)
Attekus Intelligence is the intelligence layer across the Attekus solution. It surfaces the patterns from every booking, customer, event, ticket and payment, helping your team decide faster and your customers move through every interaction with less friction. In development now, with new capabilities launching through 2026 and 2027.
What hasn’t changed.
The same software you use every day. The same team you know. The same investment in the roadmap. Your logins, your data, your contracts and your account contacts all continue without change. The name has evolved as the offering has grown.
What’s changed?
The brand, the product names and the story we tell. Our core product Bookable becomes Attekus Bookings. The rest of the product family now follows a consistent naming convention: Attekus Events, Attekus Ticketing, Attekus Customer, Attekus Appointments, Attekus Payments and Attekus Platform Services. And Attekus Intelligence is on its way, with capabilities rolling out through 2026 and 2027.

Why is the Bookable name changing?
Attekus has always been the company. Bookable was our first product, launched nine years ago to make venue and facility bookings easier. The Bookable name no longer describes what we’ve built. Every product now carries the Attekus name, starting with Attekus Bookings.
Do I need to do anything as a current Bookable customer?

No. Your software, your logins, your data, your contracts and your account contacts continue without change. The same team supports you. You may notice the name Attekus’ (formally Attekus Bookable) in your portal. That is the only change you will see day to day.

Nothing has changed in the product itself. Attekus has always been the company. Bookable was the product name. Attekus Bookings is the new name for the same product. Same code, same features, same team.

Event Management (sometimes abbreviated EM) is now Attekus Events. Event Registration and Ticketing (sometimes abbreviated ERT) is now Attekus Ticketing. The Customer module is now Attekus Customer. Integrations is now Attekus Platform Services. Payment Gateway and related modules now sit under the new Attekus Payments product family. Every product carries the Attekus name.

Your current contract continues without change. Nothing about your existing pricing changes because of the rebrand. New products in the Attekus family (such as Attekus Payments and Attekus Intelligence) are separate offerings that you can choose to add when you are ready. Attekus Payments is the new product family for every way money moves between Attekus customers and the people they serve. It brings card, digital, recurring and institutional payments together with EFTPOS and POS integration.
Are you still Bookable on social media, search and the support portal?
Can I still find you by searching for Bookable?
Yes. If you search for Bookable, you’ll still find us. We’ll continue to honour the Bookable name in search for the next twelve months so nothing is lost during the transition. Our website and social channels already carry the Attekus name, and the customer support portal continues to operate as normal.
